StartFresh - How It Works

You have considered that using the services of a professional organizer may help with your concerns at home or at the office regarding clutter, “piles”, time management, and your frustrations with not being able find what you need.

So, what happens now?
First, you can either fill out the form on the “Contact Us” tab or call me at (704) 358-0669. If you fill out the form, I will call you as soon as possible at the time you request.

The phone consultation (20-30 minutes):
During the no-obligation phone consultation, we will talk about your needs and how I can help. The purpose is to ensure that we are a good fit. If we both feel that we can work together successfully, we will schedule our first session.
There is no charge for this initial consultation.

The first session (1 – 1 ½ hours):
Our first session will pick up where our phone conversation left off. We will clarify your goals and develop a step-by-step plan for achieving those goals. Once you have all your questions answered, we will schedule our first hands-on organizing session.
There is a charge of $60 for this session.

Organizing sessions (usually 3-4 hours/each):
During our organizing sessions, we will work together to fulfill your goals. I provide you with guidance and structure as we move through each step. We will regularly review your goals, revising or modifying along the way if necessary. Sessions will be scheduled at a pace that works for you.

As we progress, you may choose to use my time in a number of ways, including: working hands-on together, using me as a resource to gather ideas and advice for various concerns, taking my recommendations and implementing them on your own, or any combination of these.
There is a charge of $60/hour for these sessions. Payment is due by cash or check at the end of each session.

In addition to organizing…
I am available, upon request, to shop for organizing products or provide donation drop-off. These services are billed at the session hourly rate.

Complimentary follow-up:
Once we reach your goals, I will be available by phone or in-person for a complimentary one-hour session. During this time, I can answer any questions about maintaining your newly organized space or systems, or make any needed adjustments.
